Conservation Architect in Banbury, Oxfordshire
Our client is a RIBA Charted Architectural Practice, and they currently have a available in Banbury. The role would see you working on a number of conservation projects from private residential projects to well know British landmarks.
The practices’ conservation portfolio includes work on Cathedrals, Schools, grade one listed residential buildings, high-profile national landmarks including retrofit.
They are looking to speak with Conservation Architects or Architects with a passion for conservation that are interested in gaining accreditation.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Working on conservation projects
2. Taking projects across all stages from concept to completion across all RIBA stages
3. Communicating with clients
4. Opportunity to work directly with English heritage
5. Offer guidance and direction to other project members
6. Using Vector works on a daily basis
7. The company will also be interested in candidates interested in progressing into management roles.
Required Skills & Experience
8. Possess a minimum of 5 years of UK project experience
9. Experience working across all RIBA stages
10. Conservation projects experience is essential
11. Passion for conservation is essential
12. AABC Accreditation is highly beneficial- but the practice will support applicants seeking to gain this
13. Proficiency in Vectorworks would be beneficial but training will be given
14. Due to location, you will require your own transport.
