Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support the development of our Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC),which will help address health inequalities through building research evidence around the wider determinants of health. TheLeicestershire HDRCis a National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded research team led collaboratively by Main duties of the job We are looking for a Research & Insight Officer to help us develop our research infrastructure, capability and capacity to enable us to understand and tackle the wider determinants of health. You will join a team that will work to achieve our project milestones over our 5-year plan, with the goal of reducing health inequalities. You will support activity across each of our six pillars of culture change; Public and Community Involvement, Engagement and Participation, Data, Governance, and Infrastructure, Research Training and Skills Development, Collaboration with anchor institutions, Monitoring, evaluation and improvement, and Knowledge Mobilisation. subject OR equivalent level of relevant experience Experience Essential Working in a business intelligence, research and insight or performance management environment Planning, developing and implementing research and insight/business intelligence/performance management projects and/or programmes Researching specific issues and managing and analysing data from database to dashboard (e.g. producing charts tables, maps, dashboards and use of statistical/analytical techniques including extracting data from systems, understanding database relationships and basic knowledge of data joins)
