Day-to-day of the role: Support the educational and social development of students within the alternative provision. Work closely with teachers to tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of each student. Implement behavioural management strategies that contribute to a positive learning environment. Assist in preparing materials and equipment for lessons, ensuring that students have the resources they need to succeed. Monitor and support the progress of students, providing feedback and assistance as needed. Facilitate small group and one-on-one interactions to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with other staff members to promote the overall well-being of students. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, particularly within an alternative provision setting. Strong understanding of strategies for managing behaviour and nurturing a positive educational environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
