We are seeking a dedicated Engineer - Combustion to join our team at HMP Wayland, a Category C & male prison. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues - we work Monday-Sunday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Two years experience working as a heating engineer, a combustion engineer or equivalent.
2. Familiarity with and ability to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
3. Familiarity with and ability to work to Gas Safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry standards.
4. Experience of working with commercial catering gas appliances would be beneficial.
5. Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
6. CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units.
7. COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units.
8. Good Health & Safety knowledge.
9. Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
