Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Prepare and manage project estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded. Tender and Bid Management: Lead the preparation, submission, and management of tenders and bids, developing strategies for success and ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive proposals. Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Provide regular commercial reports to senior management. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks in commercial activities, ensuring compliance with company strategy. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Guide and motivate teams to deliver project objectives efficiently, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Requirements: Experience in an electrical estimator/commercial management role within the electrical, construction, or maintenance sectors. Demonstrable acumen regarding commercial and contractual negotiation. Effective leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building strong client and supplier relationships. Digital Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms used for technical design, project management, and documentation (e.g. Microsoft 365 suite including advanced Excel skills, project planning tools, etc). Relevant experience in commercial management, contract negotiation alongside supply chain and procurement engagement.
