The Campus
OneSchool Global UK Biggleswade Campus is located in a market town in Central Bedfordshire, which lies on the River Ivel. Our campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that both online and face-to-face classes are catered for outstandingly. Our learning areas are thoughtfully designed to inspire innovation and create a future-ready environment for all students. We take pride in our small school atmosphere, providing personalised attention to our 200 students from Year 3 to Year 12.
The Position
We have the opportunity for an Assistant Head Teacher to help lead our amazing Biggleswade team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking, highly motivated and truly inspirational practitioner to be an Assistant Head Teacher – with Core subject teaching responsibilities and leadership portfolio to be decided on skills and experience.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a thorough understanding of and experience in pedagogical coaching including lesson observations and feedback. You will have successful experience in a secondary senior leadership role which involved the use of data and assessment information to track and improve pupil progress. You must have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or similar qualifications and possess recent experience teaching to students in KS3-KS4. You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
