Job Title: Chemotherapy and Oncology Pharmacist Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire Banding: Band 8a Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £34 - £37 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Pharmacist specialising in Chemotherapy and Oncology to join our client's team in Oxford. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of chemotherapy treatments. The successful candidate will work closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our oncology pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities: The Chemotherapy/Oncology Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing chemotherapy medications, conducting medication reviews, and providing expert advice on oncology pharmaceuticals. This role includes developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. The pharmacist will collaborate with the oncology care team to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients undergoing chemotherapy.
