Bank Driver \r Flexible hours \r Salary - £11.44 per hour \r Location – Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire \r \r We are looking for a friendly driver to join our care services team. You will be responsible for the safe conveyance of passengers to access local services such as colleges, hospitals, outings, and holidays. You will also ensure vehicles are routinely maintained, defects reported, and legal records are kept, as well as ensuring vehicles are clean, tidy, and safe for all transport needs. \r You must have a D or D1 driving licence and be able to carry out routine vehicle maintenance. \r You will have demonstrable previous driving experience and be able to drive lengthy journeys on occasions. You will assist with loading/unloading people we support who are restricted to wheelchairs. You will have a flexible approach; work as a team player and liaise effectively with other colleagues. You will have a good understanding of disability related issues/needs and be comfortable working with and providing appropriate support for people with disability. \r This role will primarily be Monday to Friday with occasional changes to hours / days dependent on the needs of the individuals we support. All changes to working patterns to be agreed with the manager, dependent on the needs of the service. The ideal candidate would have flexibility to cover trips that happen at weekends and evenings with the possibility to be able to cover emergency trips. \r We have a fleet of vehicles both manual and automatically that provide seating for two to eleven people. \r The post holder should demonstrate our people values of CAIRO (Caring, Accountable, Improving, Respectful and Open.) \r Some information about us \r Epilepsy Society’s Vision is a full life for everyone affected by epilepsy.
