Job summary We have a full time Activity Coordinator posts available, in our acute inpatient mental health service based at The Caludon Centre, in Coventry. The role involves coordinating and facilitating a range of social, recreational and diversional group activities for patients, as part of their recovery. We are looking for flexible and motivated individuals to apply, who have good people skills and a range of relevant activity skills. Experience of working in a mental health, learning disability or special educational setting would be advantageous. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for providing a range of activities for patients on the wards. They will be required to Work without direct supervision Provide a diverse weekly program of activities for all inpatient patients onwards Provide physical activity, health promotion, patient meetings, social and recreational activities, on and off the ward. Provide and maintain a range of resources so that patients and staff can engage in activities throughout the day and evening.
