Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our existing Bank team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, particularly in settings such as assisted living, senior care, and hospice care.
Responsibilities
* Implement person-centred plans by supporting people to access a range of opportunities and activities.
* Provide appropriate physical, emotional, or intellectual support to people using services that will enable them to fulfil their aspirations as determined through the individual planning process.
* Ensure that the dignity and privacy of each individual is promoted at all times, maximising their potential to live as independently as possible.
* Attend to the personal care needs of individuals, where appropriate.
* Attend to the health care needs of individuals, as appropriate and as agreed with line managers, including administration of medication and carrying out agreed health care procedures.
* Support people using services to access a range of community opportunities, including leisure, educational, and employment services, as directed by line managers.
* Lead or support activities offered in a variety of venues, as determined through the individual planning process and as directed by line managers.
* Contribute to the process of planning for individuals through discussion and attendance at meetings.
* Contribute to ongoing assessment and monitoring of people using services by maintaining and updating records, as required in line with organisational policies and procedures.
* Liaise and communicate with a range of stakeholders, as appropriate, to promote effective service delivery.
* As directed by the DSOs/SDSOs, fulfil tasks relevant to the business area to maintain high-quality, safe, and productive standards.
* Follow a variable weekly working rota that includes weekend work and a requirement to work at any day service venue as needed to meet service needs.
* Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time, commensurate with the grade of the job.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
* Senior care or assisted living environments.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and have the ability to work independently when required.

Experience:
* Spinal Injury: 1 year (preferred)
* Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred)
