Our service is continually developing to ensure delivery of personalisation and citizenship through our Connected Lives principles. Our service is about finding all forms of Social Care Services for adults across Hertfordshire. Our vision is to ensure that people are able to access support as soon as possible and providers are paid on time. Recently Brokerage Solutions Team has combined to delivered a joint OP/ADT-025 service with the Assistant Service Finders role a core function as part of this team. The Brokerage Team is made up of 46 people, including District Service Finders, Flexible Service Finders, Home Finders and Assistant Service Finders to name a few. The Assistant Service Finder usually have most interaction with internal social care teams and some external providers via email and telephone/Microsoft Teams. About the role The Assistant Service Finder will source and commission a range of social care services, as directed by an adult social care assessment. You will work closely with operational teams in Hertfordshire’s Adult Care Services (both community and hospital teams) as well as colleagues across Finance and Commissioning. You will also liaise closely with service providers and other partners. This post will support commissioning capacity and provide Business continuity and improved outcomes for Hertfordshire residents. This post will also involve accurately and timely following Service Operational Procedures for a number of Social Care Commissioning Services. About you Essential Excellent IT skills Excellent communications skills Good organisational skills Proven ability to prioritise and manage a workload and deadlines. Good Attention to detail Ability to travel to an office base Desirable : Relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in Social Care Experience/Knowledge of the Acsis System Experience/Knowledge of the E-brokerage System This job role is within the Community Services, level 6 job profile.
