Overview of role
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
Salary: Starting at £26,342.89 increasing to £29,888.59 after training
Shifts: 42 hours, 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic team players to join our production team.
As Bakery Operative, it is your responsibility to ensure the efficient operation of the plant to produce high quality bread products whilst maintaining high standards of cleaning, hygiene, housekeeping and safety. You will also be responsible for recording process control information such as metal detection and weighing checks and will continuously monitor quality standards, reporting or rectifying problems to ensure effective team working.
Whilst experience in a food manufacturing environment is welcomed, full training is available for this role. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative worker, results driven with a willingness to work to rigorous procedures.
This is a demanding role in a heavily audited and busy factory environment. A genuine enthusiasm for food manufacturing coupled with a resilient and positive attitude is essential.
