CAKE is a leading independent entertainment company specialising in the production, distribution, development, financing and brand development of kids’ and family properties. Our catalogue of animation and live action shows now comprises of over 3200 half hours and we work on leading IP’s including Angry Birds, Talking Tom and Friends, Total Drama, Lucas The Spider, Dennis and Gnasher and more. We have a development and production team who work on shared and originated projects. Most recent and current productions include Nikhil & Jay with King Banana TV and Paper Owl Films currently airing on CBeebies, a new series of Pablo with Paper Owl Films and Crayola Studios and Rainbow Brite also with Crayola Studios. Our digital division Popcorn Digital is based in LA and handles our YouTube business.

Responsibilities:
Financial Targets:
* Achieve regional revenue and profit targets for sales.
Sales Strategy:
* Develop and implement a sales strategy for the territory.
* Align with global sales strategies.
Negotiations:
* Lead major negotiations, including complex output deals.
* Represent the territory in global and multi-territory deals.
Market Knowledge:
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of market conditions, partners, and competitors.
* Prioritise sales opportunities for strategic value and financial returns.
Customer Relationships:
* Manage relationships with senior acquisition executives at key broadcasters.
* Develop account management strategies to drive additional sales.
Rights Management:
* Utilise and develop the rights management system (RIGHTSLINE) and CMS (SALESFORCE).
Material Delivery:
* Ensure smooth delivery of materials and manage invoicing and payments in line with company policy.
Strategic Planning & Decision Making:
* Develop and execute functional strategies to achieve business objectives.
* Contribute to cross-regional sales strategies.
Skills & Knowledge:

Professional Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in programme / content sales, preferably kids programming.
* In-depth knowledge of the global media landscape and emerging trends.
* Understanding of regional broadcasting and production industries.
* Strong account management experience.
Performance Metrics:
* Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
* Increase market share in the assigned territories.
* Maintain a high customer satisfaction score.
Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
* Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecasts.
* Liase with the operations team to ensure prompt materials delivery to client’s satisfaction..
Travel Requirements:
* Overseas travel required for client meetings and industry events.
