An 'outstanding' graded Primary school in the heart of the fast-paced, creative, and diverse London borough of Tower Hamlets is looking to find three recent graduates to join their exceptional primary school as SEN Teaching Assistants for ASAP starts! You will have the opportunity to support students on a 1:1 basis inside and outside the classroom, ensuring they flourish and are not left behind while supporting their additional SEN.
The school has worked with graduates for the last 3 years who have started as SEN Teaching Assistants and gone on to further studies (Masters, Therapy, etc.) or roles such as Assistant Psychologist and Well-Being Practitioner, all aspiring to pursue Clinical/Educational Psychology.
Any recent graduates will have the opportunity to work alongside truly world-class Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO), and specialist on-site teachers, all of whom have multiple years of industry experience!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, and more)
* Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding the progress of children
* Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
* Deliver specialist interventions
* Liaising with the school's therapists
* ASAP start - Long Term - Full Time
* £105 - £110 per day
* Located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Childcare-related experience, particularly with a SEN focus - Ideal
* You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable
* A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
* Experience supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - Ideal
* Future career ambitions to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Therapist, Well-Being Practitioner, etc.
