Knox Academy is a comprehensive school situated in Haddington in East Lothian. At census the roll was. A vacancy has arisen to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking individual for the position of Teacher of Geography (part-time).
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Be suitably qualified and possess a wide interest in all aspects of education
• Have a sound knowledge of current national/local curricular developments and learning and teaching theory and practice
• Work collaboratively, in an effective manner with colleagues to best meet the needs of our young people
• Deliver consistently high quality learning, teaching and assessment through inclusive pedagogical approaches
• Exhibit the interpersonal skills required to play a full part in safeguarding and nurturing young people, offering the right balance of challenge and support
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning with a focus on improving outcomes for young people
