As an Electrical Shift Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced equipment, including cranes, CRMGs, and Straddle Carriers. Perform reactive and planned maintenance to keep operations running efficiently. Address machine breakdowns promptly and ensure minimal downtime. Deliver safe systems of work by following SOPs and conducting risk assessments. Manage spare parts and materials to support operational needs. Embrace multi-skilled tasks, working across cutting-edge systems to expand your expertise. What will you bring? We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background and an electrical bias, plus: Experience in PLC fault finding, diagnosing AC/DC motors, and working with variable speed controllers. Familiarity with ABB systems is essential. A minimum HNC (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant discipline. An understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and a proactive, safety-focused mindset. Willingness to work at heights and occasionally on cranes.
