The Payroll Transformation Manager will lead the transition from SAP payroll on-premise, reporting to the Head of Payroll and working with HR/IT and 3rd party transformation teams. This role focuses on simplifying the payroll landscape, enhancing operational efficiency & controls, and improving the colleague experience by delivering modern, agile, and efficient pay processes Role overview: As part of this role, you'll be responsible for: You will lead the transformation of our payroll processes and systems, focusing on implementing a new payroll solution and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role requires strong project management skills, deep payroll expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Payroll Transformation: Drive efficiency, standardisation, best practice, and automation in payroll system/processes, aligning with the 3-year people plan and business requirements. Assessment of Current State: Evaluate the current payroll system, processes, and rules, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. Implementation and Project Management: Lead the delivery of the new payroll solution, including vendor/ system selection, project planning, system configuration, and launch. Relationship Management: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and define transformation initiatives, integrating payroll systems with HRIS, time and attendance systems, and other relevant platforms. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, Sox controls and statutory requirements, leading payroll data migration and cleansing activities to maintain data & payroll accuracy and integrity. Establish and implement standards, quality measures, and KPIs. Policies: Implement any changes to payroll policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance. You will need: Proven experience leading payroll transformation initiatives as a Payroll Transformation Manager or in a similar role. Strong understanding of payroll best practices and emerging trends. Proficiency in managing end-to-end payroll processes and implementing payroll solutions. Experience managing payroll vendors and ensuring compliance with service level agreements and Sox requirements. Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address transformation challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with payroll regulations and technology advancements. Strong project management skills to support/manage large-scale system changes and small operational changes. Highly resilient, able to work with ambiguity and uncertainty, and influence at all levels Professional certifications in payroll or project management are beneficial. Experience in payroll system transitions, especially with SAP, At least 5 years of experience within payroll -We know our people are the magic ingredient in our success.
