We have a great opportunity for an Operations Technician to join our Operations team, to support and assist the Operations team to provide a world class customer service function. You’ll work closely with all other departments in the business and provide support to the Operations Management team.
We have two 6 month fixed term contract roles available.

The role
Reporting to our Service Manager, you’ll support the Operations Function in delivering kinder banking and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. You’ll work closely with other departments, in particular Distribution and Customer Care:
* Prepare and submit all regulatory reports as required by Operations.
* Quality control and assurance checking
* Audits, checks and feedback to Team leaders.
* Creation of process maps
* Validating and if necessary, amending/updating training notes on a regular basis
* Maintaining and updating process manuals
* Horizon scanning to ensure compliance to the most up to date information.
* Complete all necessary regulatory and society reading and assessments
* Folder maintenance
* Actively review processes for process improvements
* Subject access requests completion
* Authorisation checks as required
* Ensure suspense accounts are balanced and outstanding items chased with relevant team
You’ll also understand and be aware of the risk and control environment in your area of the business and adhere to processes and procedures to minimise risks.
About You
We’re looking for someone with the ability to communicate with people at all levels - build and sustain relationships with the business and stakeholders, as well as working ‘on the ground’ with people across all areas. You’ll have the ability to work to deadlines and be adept at progressing tasks both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Where you will work
This role will be based out of our Head Office in Carlisle; we operate a hybrid working policy allowing the successful candidate to work flexibly between the office and home as required. The team currently work together in Head Office one day per week.
