We are thrilled to go to market for our new EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated to join our team. As the EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our robust EHS culture, ensuring compliance with COMAH regulations, and driving continuous improvement in all EHS aspects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of EHS on a top-tier COMAH site. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with COMAH regulations, including the preparation, maintenance, and implementation of the Safety Report and Major Accident Prevention Policy. Conduct regular EHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and ensure timely and effective corrective actions. Collaborate with site leadership and staff to foster a proactive safety culture and drive EHS performance improvements. Provide expert advice and guidance on EHS matters to all levels of the organization. Coordinate and lead EHS training programs to enhance the knowledge and competence of employees. Liaise with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders on EHS issues. Monitor EHS performance metrics and prepare regular reports for site management and corporate leadership. Lead emergency response planning and coordination, including drills and exercises. Stay current with EHS legislation, industry trends, and best practices, and ensure their integration into site operations. About you Degree qualified in either Environmental Science, Chemical/Chemistry Engineering, or a related field. Ideally worked in the Chemical Sector with previous top-tier COMAH knowledge Proven track record in developing and implementing effective EHS programs and initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
