As a Loader / General Operative at FCC Environment, you will work as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team within the Burnley area. You will play a vital role in ensuring waste and recycling collections are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies.

What will you be doing?
•Working as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team
•Loading refuse and recyclable materials onto collection vehicles
•Following all health & safety regulations and company policies
•Ensuring all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is worn at all times
•Treating company property and colleagues with respect
•Reporting any accidents, near misses, or safety concerns to management
•Carrying out any duties as defined by the local management team
•Working outdoors in all weather conditions
What are we looking for?
•Physically fit due to the nature of the role
•Reliable and trustworthy
•Good timekeeping skills
•Prepared to work in all weather conditions
•Ability to follow clear instructions
•Knowledge of Local Area (preferred but not essential)
•Previous experience in waste collection or a similar role (desirable but not essential – full training will be provided)
