Required Skills:
* Holder of a Third Level Diploma/Degree in Facilities/Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Sustainability Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
* 6+ years' experience in a relevant field and similar role, preferably conducting energy audits.
* Professional certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent.
* Exceptional technical knowledge of building engineering energy and management systems.
* Capability of managing projects within timelines and budgets; leading team members & delegating tasks where necessary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
* Strong customer focus, resourceful problem solver and with initiative, empathetic to client's day to day business problems and frustrations.
* Innovative mindset with a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
* Understanding of current and proposed sustainability, energy & carbon emission related legislation (Building and Planning regulations).
* Experience with cost estimates for renewable energy systems..
* Full clean driver's license.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
* Produce SI426 compliant energy audit reports and on behalf of clients, outlining energy, cost & carbon saving opportunities, for a range of building types.
* Conduct site inspections and energy surveys to understand existing energy systems, building services and liaise with client to develop understanding of operations.
* Lead and manage a team of energy auditors, providing guidance and support where necessary to ensure delivery of high-quality energy audits and recommendation reports.
* Lead grant consultancy initiatives, exploring funding opportunities through bodies such as SEAI and Enterprise Ireland for sustainability and energy saving projects relevant to the client's needs.
* Develop detailed project implementation plan and track on a regular basis. Ensure projects are in line with timelines and budgets.
* Weekly updates internally to senior management and externally to clients for ongoing projects.
* Responsible for key account management and maintaining and fostering the client relationship.
* Complete additional training/education where needed/mentor less experienced staff within team.
* Monitor and optimise savings during the performance stages of energy saving contracts via our in-house vision monitoring and control system.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure we are delivering a best-in-class service to all clients.
