Contracts Manager - Process Pipework and Plant Installations
Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 4GL.
Full time permanent position.
This multi-company offers in-depth expertise in electrical installation, mechanical & pipework engineering, and process control. Covering all major industrial sectors, we work directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialized contractors and major engineering firms. Our primary aim is to meet client needs and optimize their industrial performance, building on a broad range of expertise, substantial track record, and extensive network. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager with process pipework and plant installation experience to join the company, supporting major mechanical installation projects within the food and beverage industry.
Duties
As a suitably experienced and qualified Contracts Manager, you will be managing process pipework and plant installation projects on food and beverage sites across the Midlands and South of England. Primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing projects from the first marketing approach through quotation, negotiation, realization, costs, invoicing, final acceptance, and receipts.
2. Identifying projects and tenders, ensuring successful delivery of the project to scope, target costs, quality, program, and completion.
3. Encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover, and all commercial aspects.
4. Accountable for procurement, purchasing, and technical aspects of the project.
5. Developing key customer relationships through regular reviews of contract performance and managing needs and shortfalls.
About You
Ideally, you should be living in Northamptonshire or Warwickshire or within a short commutable distance of Daventry, NN11 4GL.
Minimum qualifications include:
1. Proven experience of working with and managing contracts within a traditional construction project, preferably in a food and beverage production environment.
2. Manager/Supervisor status with relevant technical discipline and experience.
3. Experience in the design, manufacture, or installation of products for the Food & Beverage Sector.
