Job Description: Drilling and Completions Manager in Aberdeen, ensuring consistent application of Management Systems, planning, design, and implementation of drilling and well operations activities, managing drilling and contractor services, and delivering cost-effective performance.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure Management Systems are applied consistently to all phases of drilling and well operations activities.
* Plan, design, and implement projects according to policies, standards, and regulations.
* Manage drilling and contractor services to deliver cost-effective performance.
* Deliver drilling and completion contracts to support upcoming drilling operations.
* Maintain an accurate forward programme of drilling and well activities.
* Define operational and contracting strategies.
* Define local drilling team organisation structure.
* Ensure adequate personnel resources are allocated to the operation.
* Ensure well designs, programmes, and amendments are in place and compliant with policies and standards.
* Review and approve designs, programmes, and cost estimates.
* Implement a performance management system and continuous improvement programme.
* Liaise with subsurface team and production department.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree/Masters in Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering or similar discipline.
* Significant experience relevant to role.
* Current IWCF (Level 4 - Combined Supervisor) Certification in Well Control.
* Current BOSIT certification.
* Current MIST certification.
* Drilling Engineering Experience.
* Offshore Drilling Supervisor Experience.
* Drilling Superintendent Experience.
