Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs.

1. To have a clinical lead responsibility in the service, developing pathways in conjunction with locality and Service Leads.
2. Represent and deputise for the locality team lead as required.
3. To assess, plan and develop specialist OT programmes for patients with complex neurological problems and a wide variety of complex needs.
4. Using expert knowledge, advanced clinical and autonomous decision-making skills, lead the team to manage patients with highly complex and sometimes unstable health needs.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
Essential Criteria
1. Degree or equivalent, e.g., BSc, MSc, or Diploma entry level qualification into the Physiotherapy profession.
2. Current HCPC registration.
3. Professional knowledge and training to master's level or equivalent experience.
4. Theoretical study and experience within a neuro rehab setting to master's level or equivalent experience.
5. Documented evidence of own continuing professional development and its application.
6. Fieldwork/Practice Educator qualification.
Desirable Criteria
1. Member of RCOT.
2. Management/Leadership qualification and experience.
3. Member of Specialist Section Neurological Practice (SSNP).
Experience
Essential Criteria
1. Significant relevant post-graduate clinical experience in a variety of settings including community.
2. Specialist knowledge of a broad range of OT client groups.
3. Advanced understanding of neuro rehab clinical conditions and clinical experience in managing complex neurological conditions including cognitive problems.
4. Experienced Clinical Supervisor.
5. Experience of implementing change.
6. Previous NHS experience.
7. Experience of being involved in research study.

2. Able to demonstrate commitment to high quality care and service provision.

Physical Requirements
Essential Criteria
1. The ability to kneel, bend & stoop and work in cramped environments.
2. The ability to use moving and handling equipment to manoeuvre patients.
3. Must have access to a personal car and the ability to drive independently around the locality, due to the radius covered and lack of public transport in some areas.
