Purpose of the role: The Project Coordinator will support the Project Management Team in delivering complex projects on time, within budget and to the required quality, following the Ceres Project Delivery process. This role involves defining detailed project plans, coordinating with internal teams to meet milestones, serving as the primary point of contact for key customers and suppliers, and addressing all factors necessary to ensure project success. Key Accountabilities: • Prepare and maintain the project plan, including key milestones and deliverables, ensuring that dependencies and resourcing needs are defined for capacity planning. • Facilitate project reviews and maintain actions, issues and tracking documents. • Share project knowledge and lessons learned to benefit Ceres operations. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency. • Assist with Project Management Office tasks as directed by senior management, taking ownership where necessary. • Provide a supporting role in the following: • Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and understanding their influence. • Prepare, maintain and obtain approval for the Project Charter, ensuring it reflects changes in scope, timing, and cost. • Deliver projects in accordance with the Ceres Project Delivery Process and Quality Procedures. • Track and mange project costs, including variance to plan, forecasting, and cost-to- complete. • Proactively manage risks, documenting and escalating where necessary. • Prepare and maintain project management through structured reviews. • Manage changes in project scope, timing, and cost through the Change Control Notification process, updating controlled documents as required. Knowledge and skills required for the role: • Several years project management experience in a supporting role or equivalent. • Excellent communication skills. • Working knowledge of project management techniques underpinned by technical background. • Experience as a project coordinator ideally within technically complex projects. • Experience of customer and supplier relationship management. • Ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and situations, working in a fast-paced environment. • Solves complex problems, takes a new perspective on existing solutions. • Proficiency with MS Excel, particularly with data handling, data analysis and report creation. • Experience in the following would also be advantageous: • MS Project Server • APM and / or PRINCE2 • Agile project management techniques (i.e. Sprint/Scrum) • Process development and continuous improvement
