Newgate is a small but thriving homewares and eyewear company, passionate about stylish and practical design. Based in Oswestry, we sell online, including on Amazon, and supply a range of trade partners. With a close-knit and dynamic team, we pride ourselves on our collaborative and flexible approach. As our business grows, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to join us and help keep things running smoothly.
This is a dynamic and exciting role supporting management with a range of projects in key areas of the business which may include: e-commerce and listings, pricing, stock control, data handling and reporting. If you enjoy variety and working in a friendly environment this could be the perfect role for you.
Your role will include:
1. Office administration: Supporting general office tasks, ensuring smooth operations across the team.
2. Customer support: Assisting with customer queries via email and phone, ensuring excellent service is always provided.
3. Amazon management: Creating and maintaining Amazon listings, assisting with the day-to-day management of our online sales channels.
4. Data handling: Collating, preparing, and analysing data for internal use and reporting purposes.
5. Stock processing and planning: Supporting stock management, including monitoring inventory, updating records, and assisting with forecasting.
What we are looking for:
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Comfortable using Excel to manage and analyse data.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* A team player with a flexible and can-do attitude.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
* Experience with Amazon Seller Central is a bonus, but training can be provided.
