“Feeling part of a team that’s making a huge difference in the community”
“I believe I help make a difference and that makes me feel proud.”
We are always looking for excellent people to join our charity. We seek professional skills, values-driven behaviours, commitment, and ambition to deliver “quality of life, to the end of life, for everyone.”
You will need to be an experienced registered nurse, with experience in a hospice or palliative care setting being desirable. You should possess good communication skills, excellent care values, and a strong sense of team spirit.
We look for people who truly care about their work and have immense compassion to give. You’ll support building our culture, which develops your skills and values, and builds your confidence to be the best version of yourself. We work hard to look after our people, our patients, our families, and our reputation.
All patients are Thames Hospice patients, and therefore we always support the patient and their family irrespective of our individual role. We represent the clinical model, wider charity, and healthcare system at all times. You will work with passion and dedication as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the care delivered to our patients is exceptional, and we deliver ‘care with agility.’ You’ll research and learn the best ways of delivering interventions and ensure people are scheduled with the right experience to deliver safe and effective care.
We offer a great range of employee schemes and benefits, including:
* Generous annual leave
* Free parking on-site
* Discounted meals in our on-site café
* EAP
* Access to NHS pension scheme if eligible
* Blue Light Discount Card
* ... and so much more!
Care to be part of it?
