About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in windows and doors to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with LogiKal software and a solid understanding of estimating within the fire-rated systems industry. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely, with a requirement to attend our Kent office once per week. Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for fire-rated windows, doors, and curtain walling projects. - Utilize LogiKal software to create and manage project estimates. - Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to produce comprehensive estimates. - Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and client expectations. - Provide support and advice to clients regarding fire-rated systems, offering expert guidance on product selection and application. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates. - Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and tender submissions. - Ensure all estimates meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements - Essential: Experience in estimating within the windows and doors industry. - Essential: Proficiency in LogiKal software. - Advantageous: Knowledge of fire-rated systems. - Bonus: Experience with cladding estimation. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Willingness to travel to the Kent office once per week.
