The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the UK events indutry, its' suppliers and producers. You will have a strong understanding of scenic construction practices, techniques and materials. This position requires strong organisational skills, someone who is practically and socially minded. The Project Assistant will help the Project Mangers ensure that projects are completed on time, to the highest standards and within budget.We have a busy 2025 on the horizon and an immediate start date is preferred but not essential.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning and execution of projects by coordinating schedules and resources.Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing documentation.Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and digital documents.Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and team members.Collaborate with team members to ensure all project milestones are met effectively.Attend site to gain experience of installation and dismantle practices.Qualifications and/or ExperienceFour years minimum experience in the UK Live Events industry.A strong knowledge of scenic contruction techniques and materials.A relevant qualification is an advantage.Full clean driving licence and own vehicle.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with office procedures and computerised systems.If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to exciting projects while developing your skills in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply for the Project Assistant position.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From £37,440.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany pensionSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:A-Level or equivalent (required)Experience:events industry: 4 years (preferred)Language:English (required)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 20/01/2025Expected start date: 10/02/2025
