E-ppl are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. Working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.
The main responsibilities for the successful candidates are:
• Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface.
• Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.
• Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
• Mixes paint according to specifications.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired colour.
• Paints surface using your own sprayer or brush as appropriate.
• Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, fisheyes, sags and unpainted areas.
• Provide Spray gun and use properly and safely and ensure tools remain in a proper state of repair.
• Keeps work area clean.
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including air fed mask, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
• Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
