Main duties will include:
• Support and supervise a team of Support Workers to deliver best practice and exceed quality standards of care and support.• Support and supervise the delivery of person-centred service care and support• To support the maintenance of effective care record keeping to ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met.• To manage, support your team to ensure they are compliant with all mandatory training requirements to undertake their role• To promote and support the health and safety of the people we support and support colleagues. Requirement
1. Experience of managing a team (desirable)
2. NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC or willingness to work towards within 12 months
Skills/Experience required:
3. Previous experience of working within a care/support environment
4. Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to care standards, health and safety and food hygiene
5. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
6. Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach, being able to prioritise, plan and organise the work load
