Senior Payroll & Bookkeeper
Salary: 28k - 30k per annum
Hybrid working: 2 days from home
Hours: 9am - 5.30pm (flexible working)
Epsom Based
JOB DESCRIPTION
Payroll:
1. Preparing payroll for our clients
2. Accurately input payroll data into the payroll software
3. Deducting tax and national insurance payments
4. Calculate Statutory Maternity Pay, Shared Parental Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay
5. Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses
6. Calculating overtime, shift payments and pay increases
7. Issuing P45’s and other tax forms
8. Dealing with HMRC
9. Auto enrolment pension deductions
10. Real time payroll reporting
11. Maintain confidentiality at all times
Bookkeeping:
1. General bookkeeping for clients using Xero, Sage & Quickbooks
2. Maintaining accurate records and managing deadlines efficiently
3. Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance requirements
4. Providing support to clients with Xero and other accounting software
5. Assisting with Management Accounts
