This is an excellent opportunity to join the Governance and Legal Team at Wyre Council working as a Legal Administration Support Officer. Your main role will be to support the team in all aspects of their work which will include opening and closing files, sealing legal documents, and drafting standard legal correspondences.
The successful applicant will have a good level of education (GCSEs to grade 5 or above (A-C) including English and Maths), extensive experience in general clerical/administrative work, and a high level of computer literacy. The successful applicant should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to work unsupervised at pace whilst maintaining accuracy and often to tight, conflicting deadlines.
Whilst previous experience of working in local government and the field of legal services is desirable, it is not essential, and a full training package will be put in place for the successful candidate.
