Job Title: Care Support Worker Location: Croydon Client: Ofsted Outstanding Rated Children's Services About the Role: Join a therapeutic children's services organisation specialising in 'Intentional Parenting' to support children in residential care. As a Care Support Worker, you will report to the Registered and Deputy Manager, ensuring a supportive living experience for children with complex care needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Key Responsibilities as a Care Support Worker: Implement the company's therapeutic approach and support care and education programs promoting self-esteem. Develop and review Placement Plans, fostering anti-discriminatory practices. Maintain a nurturing environment and facilitate family/community partnerships. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and maintain accurate records. Participate in team meetings, and training, and duties as needed. Qualifications and Experience in a Care Support Worker: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or actively working towards) is essential. Experience in a residential care setting is desirable. Good standard of education, preferably with GCSEs in Maths and English. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. Salary and Benefits: Starting from £25,500 per annum (including one sleep-in every 8 days). 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays. Overtime opportunities are available.
