We're currently recruiting a Health and Safety Manager to work across a large construction framework in the Southeast of England. This position will be heavily client interfacing and is expected to build and lead an operational team of SHE Advisors across the region.
Specifically, this organisation is looking for a creative, innovative individual with new ideas, which can ensure their cutting-edge health and safety program continues to deliver to the highest standard.
Responsibilities of Health and Safety Manager will include:
* Assisting, advising, and coaching contractors to ensure they can achieve the efficient and effective delivery of the Health and Safety strategy.
* Conducting major incident investigations to identify root causes and making recommendations to prevent any reoccurrence.
* Auditing and reporting on Health and Safety performance.
* Constantly assessing opportunities for continual Health and Safety improvement and sharing best practices across the organisation.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
* Ideally hold a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ5 (or equivalent) and Cert IOSH status working towards chartership.
* Proven experience in a similar role within a Principal Contractor / Tier 1 construction organisation.
* Strong experience working with major external stakeholders and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
* Experience operating at a senior level with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
This role would suit an ambitious Health and Safety professional looking to further grow and develop their career. A UK Driver's license is essential.
