Social Media Lead Permanent Opportunity Salary range: £40,000 £45,000 based on experience Location: Epping Forest - a valid UK Driving License and access to a car is required for this post Right to work: Our client is not able to offer visa sponsorship, you must have current Right to Work in the UK to be considered Our client is a leading construction firm who have been growing at a rapid pace, and are looking to expand their Marketing team. The Social Media Lead is a newly created position and will work closely with colleagues across Marketing and Communications to develop the social media strategy and really take charge of the company's social media platforms. This role will be based in Epping Forest, but will require travel to different sites to capture content and build the brand identity, therefore a UK license and access to a car is essential to this post. Responsibilities: Residential - B2C: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, establishing a consistent tone and style that resonates with the target audience, enhances brand identity, and supports their sales and marketing initiatives Collaborate with the agency, sales, marketing, and communications teams to: Identify key on-site milestones and activities Align social media with PR and digital content schedules Integrate social media within the broader marketing strategy Review and approve content calendars within agreed timelines, coordinating the approval process with the Group Sales and Marketing Director Create and execute content plans for all B2C social channels (e.g., Instagram) while planning to expand into TikTok and Pinterest Suggest and implement innovative ways to boost engagement and user-generated content (UGC) Identify collaboration opportunities with local businesses near the company developments Partner with relevant ambassadors and influencers to expand our brand's reach Research, plan, shoot (where needed), edit, and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms Support the growth of TikTok and Pinterest profiles and keep Pinterest updated with relevant visuals Engage with customers and local businesses to secure permission for content resharing Attend production days and lifestyle shoots to capture compelling content Provide marketing teams with insights on the latest trends and recommendations for on-site content creation International - B2B: Collaborate closely with the Digital Communications & Content Executive to develop a social media calendar for International Linked In, working with key stakeholders to plan and execute content Film and edit content for group social media channels Work with the PR team to manage the group's social media schedule, including writing copy when necessary Coordinate with stakeholders to build a corporate social media calendar Schedule and track the performance of International Linked In posts Manage Linked In community interactions by responding to comments Design and create collateral for International Linked In and internal channels where appropriate General duties: Stay current with the latest social media trends, tools, and competitor activities for bench-marking purposes Attend Marketing and Group events to capture content, including interviews with key stakeholders Plan content for significant dates on each social platform Provide performance metrics and evaluation reports for social media efforts Research current trends, audience preferences, and social media technologies while conducting competitor analysis Handle ad-hoc digital content tasks as needed Skills and qualifications: Previous experience across any of the following industries: Construction, Interior Design, Housing or Architecture Previous experience defining and creating a Social Media Strategy ensuring consistent branding Previous paid work experience in B2C marketing across multiple channels including Linked In, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok Excellent communication skills, ability to work with multiple teams cohesively and collaboratively Sure Commercial Limited (trading as Sure Exec Search) are a proud Equal Opportunities employer, and do not discriminate against any candidate on the grounds of age, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, marriage and civil partnerships, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
