Electoral Services Apprentice
Starting salary £22074 per annum (£11.44 per hour).
37 hours per week – 2 year fixed term contract
Based at Kings Court Council Offices, Kings Lynn

We have an exciting new opportunity for you join us to train, earn and gain a wide range practical administrative experience in our Electoral Services Team. We are looking for people who are self-motivated and have a commitment to develop a career by completing an apprenticeship programme with us.
You will develop an understanding of the electoral registration process and how elections are delivered and assist with the preparation and publication of the register of electors. You will also gain an understanding of the electoral registration IT systems to process application for registration and postal votes.
You will undertake a level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration, to be eligible for this you must have GCSE’s grades 4-9 or above in Maths and English. You will have good time management skills to include good attendance and punctuality and you will need to be able to get to your place of work and any training provider. You will also have a keen interest in working in the public sector/the process of elections with good communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft applications and good attention to detail.
