MJ Quinn is a contractor for the provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunications services. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for Commercial Gas Engineers to work within our Mechanical, Electrical & Building Maintenance Division on a permanent basis based in the North West area, travelling to required sites.

Responsibilities
1. Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Project Manager within the MEB Maintenance Division. Works would be predominantly maintenance driven with Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive calls and contracts that we deliver in the North West area within numerous establishments.
2. Gas and Plumbing Installation works, however the focus is on Reactive and Planned Maintenance.
3. Testing & Inspection of Mechanical Services within the client buildings, general day to day repairs of Heating, Hot water, and Ventilation systems.

11. The candidate must be flexible and able to accommodate being on an out of hours call rota from time to time. A company vehicle and mobile phone will be provided along with the necessary work wear
12. We are looking for a team player who is customer-focused, quality-oriented, methodical, flexible, energetic, and enthusiastic
13. As a requirement, an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, due to the client sites visited
14. A driving licence is required (a driver check will be carried out)
Qualifications/Experience
1. Experience working on commercial sites
2. Domestic Gas: CCN1 Core Domestic safety
3. CENWAT Boilers
4. CKR1 Gas Cookers
5. HYR1 Wall Heaters and Gas Fires
6. Commercial Gas: CDGA1
7. Direct Fired Heating Appliances
8. CIGA1 Indirect Fired Gas Appliances
9. CORT1 Gas Fired Radiant Tube and Plaque Heaters
10. TPCP1 or 1A Testing and Purging
11. Commercial Catering experience would be advantageous (not essential)
12. LPG would be advantageous
13. F Gas would be advantageous
