Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Housekeeper to join our team, here in the Endoscopy Department. Based at our Broadgreen Diagnostic Hub, you will be the patient's first point of contact when attending the for their endoscopy appointment, ensuring that they are attended promptly on our Patient Administration System (IPM) and that they are fully supported in their attendance (interpreters are booked, patient information leaflets are available, general queries are answered etc). You will be responsible for stock management and will liaise with the Endoscopy department at the Royal site to ensure delivery and transport of stock/kit between sites. You will ensure that the main reception area is always clean and presentable and that any maintenance issues are reported immediately to the Estates team.You will liaise with the ward sister to ensure all patient information is communicated clearly to interviewing nurses and that follow-up action is taken from the discharge team and communicated to the relevant teams You will ensure patients have any assistance they require to eat and drink, in line with their dietary requirements before being discharged from the unit Main duties of the job To admit and discharge all patients for the Endoscopy unit and provide the necessary administrative support to ensure that a high quality service is provided at all times, thereby affecting a smooth and efficient running of the department.
