Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a local authority to provide them with a Repairs & Maintenance Team Leader on a contract basis.
As a successful Repairs & Maintenance Team Leader, your duties will be:
1. Carry out repair inspections of residential properties.
2. Experience working on disrepair and understand the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims (England).
3. Experience working on damp and mould cases and understand Awaab's law.
4. Confident communicating with a legal team.
5. Project manage repairs work using DLO and contractor to court agreed timelines.
6. Competent in the use of computers, PDA and related systems.
7. Complete work to a high standard in a timely manner.
To be considered, you will have the following knowledge/experience:
1. Significant experience in managing both voids and responsive repairs within an in-house operation.
2. Experience of planned maintenance and asset management contracts.
3. Management experience in a construction-related environment.
What's on offer?
1. Contract Length: 12 months with a view to go permanent.
2. Pay: Starting from £25+ p/h (negotiable depending on your experience).
3. Working Hours: 36 Hours p/w - Monday - Friday.
4. Own transport required, Mileage will be paid at standard rates.
