Role: Apprentice Administrator
Salary: Starting £ per week with clear progression through apprenticeship to £ per week at qualification
Hours: Monday to Friday am to pm
Office Location: Chorley
Contract Type: Fixed Term months

Set up by a former foster parent and former social worker in, Foster Care Associates (FCA) is an established fostering agency which forms part of the Polaris Community - one of the UK’s largest leading communities of children’s service providers.
The business was born out of an enthusiasm for delivering fostering services to make a positive difference to the lives of looked after children. Our first office was in the Worcestershire countryside, and that’s still where our Head Office is today.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Administrator to join us in our friendly, dedicated and established team working in our Chorley office.
Key responsibilities
1. To provide administrative support relevant to your department
2. Maintain the departments Database and any other Company IT Systems/internal recording
3. Respond to inbound telephone calls and manage outgoing and incoming mail.
4. Ensure security and strict confidentiality
5. Communicate effectively to all customers, internal and external to the Group.
6. Comply with Equal Opportunities Policy and Procedure in all employment practices.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience:
7. Basic administration skills
8. GCSE/equivalent in Maths and English - This can be completed alongside your qualification if not already obtained.
9. Ability to manage own workload and work independently
10. Excellent customer service skills
11. An understanding of the use of IT and electronic communications including Microsoft Office (eg Word, Excel and Outlook)
12. Good organisational skills
13. Be open to direction, using initiative to seek advice where necessary
