Kinver High School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Teacher of RE to join our ‘warm and welcoming school’ where ‘pupils behave well in lessons’ and ‘are polite and courteous’ (Ofsted Dec 21).

Kinver High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our thriving Humanities department on a full-time, maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in exploring religious, ethical, and philosophical topics within a supportive and high-achieving school.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and high-quality RE lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion.
3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, assess, and contribute to the wider school community.
4. Support students in their academic progress and personal development.
Person Specification
1. A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in teaching Religious Education.
2. Passionate about inspiring young people and making a difference in their learning.
3. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
4. A commitment to upholding the school’s values and ethos.
