Position Summary: The Engineering Technician II will be part of the Global R&D EAM Team who will provide day to day support on equipment service vendors, and support the Europe team with Equipment Lifecycle activities, such onboarding, decommissioning, etc. This individual will work in a dynamic team-oriented environment that supports multiple operations and technologies helping Illumina deliver its highly complex product pipeline in a reliable and sustainable manner. Responsibilities: Provide day to day support related to equipment lifecycle, including collection of instruments that require calibration, and applying service labels. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes in priority, and redirect efforts as necessary. Ability to coordinate several tasks effectively and efficiently at the same time, and work independently. Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional departments are a must. Assist with equipment labelling, data collection & analysis. Advanced data collection, hands-on skills and able to summarize results. Excellent analytical, verbal and written documentation skills.
