Warehouse staff are required for on going work- Full training provided.
Our great client in Bognor Regis is looking for additional warehouse operatives to work on the picking line and to also work in their good in/ goods out dept.
• The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required.
• Candidates must be flexible as will be moved around in different parts of the warehouse in accordance with the demand in particular areas.
• This is a very varied and interesting role. Flexibility is required.
• No days are the same due to the rotation within each section of the warehouse.

Some of the duties will include
• Stickering/Destickering books and picking and packing books ready for dispatch.
• Picking books, scanning books with barcodes, placing the correct books into boxes ensuring the books are secure and the boxes are padded out, and securely bound in preparation for despatch.
• Training will be provided in all areas, from the scanners to the machine that makes the protection cardboard.
Would you like to would earn £429 per week, paid weekly plus accrued holiday pay (Equivalent to £22.308 per year) + real overtime opportunities.
* Pay per hour: £11.44 - rising to £12.00+ holiday pay, paid weekly on Fridays Holiday Pay is accrued additionally according to the hours worked.
* Total daily paid hours available- 7.5 hours pay per day.
* Total weekly paid hours- 37.5 hours per week- 2 x 30 minute breaks- only 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week.
* Overtime paid after 37.5 hours at Time and a Half- Not compulsory.
These bookings are ongoing in nature and can lead to a PERMANENT opportunity for the right candidates.
Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential.
• The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore punctuality and reliability is very important.
• The opportunity for the right person to have continuous work here is very real.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager.
• Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative.
• Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved.
Safety boots and hi-vis vest must be worn whilst on site.
Manual Handling of goods-All training and Induction provided by the client.
There is a cafeteria on site.
Smoking is permitted in outside designated areas. during desihnated breaks.
Mobile phones must be turned off during core working hours.
