We are looking for an Office Assistant to support the team with all of the admin and office needs, which means there is a huge range of tasks that you will undertake. Therefore, it is a great opportunity to expand your skillset and business knowledge.
This is a part-time position for 8-16 hours per week.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Welcome Visitors to the office.
* Taking and delivering messages.
* Scanning, photocopying and filing documents.
* Arranging for meetings by reserving rooms and securing refreshments.
* Maintaining office equipment like copiers and fax machines for smooth office functionality.
* Conducting research and compiling data upon request.
* Managing office supplies, including refreshments.
* Opening, sorting and distributing mail.
* Creating, editing and updating spreadsheets.
* Lead on preparing and acknowledgment of company/employee anniversaries – birthdays, length of service, religious and annual events.
What we are looking for:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer literacy including MS Office.
* Experience working in an office environment.
* Ability to use own initiative.
