All appointments are on a permanent, term time only, employed basis. FTE salary range £22,065.00 to £28,333.00 (part-time salary is pro rata, depending on hours worked) paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

OVERVIEW
As a Steel Pan, Sitar, Tabla, Dhol, or Samba Teacher with us, you’ll play a crucial role in developing the skills and musical passion of our students. This role is not just about teaching techniques; it’s about motivating our students to understand and love the broad and vibrant world of traditional cultural instruments. You will be responsible for nurturing their talent, challenging their limits, and guiding them through an immersive educational journey.
We are interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:
* Small Group/1:1 teaching (all ages up to 18)
* Whole Class Instrumental Teaching
* Ensemble direction (beginner through to advanced)
* Experience of working with children with additional needs (mainstream and special schools)
* Strong knowledge of music repertoire and assessment systems (beginner to advanced)
