The Role:
As a Junior Software Developer, you will:
* Develop Your Skills: Work under supervision to deliver software components within a multidisciplinary team.
* Engage in Testing: Understand and become proficient in various types of testing methodologies.
* Contribute to Security: Be aware of security practices and contribute to protecting solutions and services.
Main Duties:
* Actively participate and contribute to the developer community.
* Continuously improve the quality of software and systems produced.
* Develop your skills and knowledge through agreed personal development activities.
* Follow industry best practices aligned with HMLR standards and approved technologies.
* Identify and implement optimizations to the development process.
* Learn and understand legacy technology and systems as required.
* Gain insights into Land Registry operations, including casework and register data.

About You:
To be eligible for this placement, you must:
* Have completed the second year of a relevant IT-related degree program by September 2025 and be seeking a placement year in the industry before finishing your degree.
* Possess technical skills in:
o Frontend web technologies
o Operating systems and environments
o Programming languages
o Relational databases
