Design Manager
We are seeking a Design Manager to join our team in Solihull, with the opportunity for hybrid working.

Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division delivers infrastructure projects that connect communities and businesses. As a Design Manager, you will lead the development of technically compliant, cost-effective, and environmentally considerate solutions during the pre-construction phase, aligning with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the technical approval process, consents process, and governance required to deliver projects.
* Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and promote health and safety in design activities.
* Lead and manage the design team to achieve project goals on time, cost, quality, and health and safety.
* Oversee project and design budgets, forecast design costs, and drive efficiency through innovation and design reuse.
* BUILD TRUST AND INTEGRITY WITH CLIENTS BY PROVIDING TIMELY INFORMATION, MANAGING RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES, AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH CLIENT-SPECIFIC DELIVERY PROCESSES.
Requirements:
* A degree-level engineering qualification and ideally CSCS accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites and client meetings as required.
* A sound understanding of design principles within the water industry and familiarity with client standards and regulations.
