The CPG Wholesale team works with global and national FMCG companies who manage many of the world’s most recognised brands, providing solutions to business challenges based upon our data.
Job Responsibilities:
1. You will be joining our Wholesale client team, where you will be responsible for leading some of our largest client relationships and utilising our products and solutions to support their objectives.
2. Responsible for client retention, contract renewal, and revenue growth through the delivery of products and services which meet the business needs of clients. The overall aim is to boost our client’s market or category understanding whilst building brand equity.
3. Lead multiple key client relationships to deliver outstanding service in line with our purpose of enabling “Smarter Decisions. Faster Actions. Exceptional Performance”.
4. The leadership as well as the strategic development of some of our pivotal client relationships.
5. Demonstrate extensive industry knowledge and an understanding for how data can be applied within our client's business.
6. New business identification as well as nurturing the opportunity through to sign off and implementation.
7. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable commercial acumen, proven leadership skills and a passion for building a strong engagement with the client.
Skills & Experience required:
1. This is a role which requires initiative – it will be very varied and very rewarding for the right person.
2. The role demands drive and focus from a person who really wants to engage with clients every day.
3. Ability to demonstrate strong commercial acumen with proven experience in a client-facing role and a track record of creating and developing new business including experience of P&L’s.
4. Excellent planning and organization.
5. Highly self-motivated and assured at presenting to all levels.
6. Strong relationship builder, both internal and external.
7. Understanding of a ‘consultative selling approach’ with proven questioning and listening skills.
8. Ability to work effectively under pressure with an inquisitive nature is essential.
9. A determination to hit an individual sales target while also being a team player and managing junior members of the team.
10. Confident working with data with a good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
11. Ideally educated to degree level.
12. A working knowledge of market tracking and insights within FMCG would be beneficial.
