Act as first escalation point for FLE team members on line and management of team. Conduct development/performance conversations with team member and hold regular 1-2-1s. Ensure required skills in place for area of control including management of agency labour. Leads the shift DDS meetings ensuring that all losses are captured with actions to resolve. Responsible for ensuring all standard work tasks are completed according to identified cadence. Coach Teams in problem solving and changing behaviours to help improve people capability and Site KPI’s People/Safety, Food Safety/Quality, Cost and Service. Escalates any service, performance or behavioural concerns on shift to appropriate forum and delivers feedback to relevant zone. Accountable for delivery of the key performance metrics of the balanced score card (e.g. TE/PR, Waste, Volume Fill, PSA, accidents, environmental incidents and food safety incidents). Will be required to build strong links into scheduling and responsible for the execution of an optimised schedule. Carries out investigations on shift regarding performance/people/quality/safety/environmental matters when an incident occurs within their area or as required to support the broader team. Will work closely with the other functional coordinators to ensure any downtime is delivered to the right standard and the right time to maximise service delivery. Responsible for safety of all employees, visitors and contractors on shift including PPE compliance, safety coaching conversations, KSB management and the coordination and completion of Near Miss actions to conclusion. Supporting FLE Recruitment. Respond effectively to critical issues, e.g. breakdowns, unplanned stops, emergency evacuations. Facilitates line balancing and material flow, material planning and risk management for assigned area. Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment.
